With a law degree specialising in corporate law from the University
of Barcelona, Antoni Fitó worked as joint
head of the legal department in Spain for the international business
consultants Moore Stephens from 1994 to 2000.
He is a founding member of the law offices Marco Legal, Abogados
& Economistas, S.A., a Barcelona-based legal and business consulting
company that focuses primarily on companies in the new technologies
sector, through which he took part in the acquisition of IP Multimedia
by EresMas.
Member of the Bar Association, Il.lustre Col.legi d’Advocats
de Barcelona, since 1993, he has worked as a lawyer and served as
a board member of several companies and corporations in the new
technologies and information society sector, delivering lectures
at various courses related to new technologies law, especially to
those aspects related to privacy and the protection of personal
data.
